The Pneu-Written, created specially for St. George’s Art Centre, in Liverpool, combined the eventstructure MovieMovie (1966), with a performance scenography created by the renowned British artist John Latham (1921–2006). Its material actions included a nude performer wearing pages from books, the shredding of book pages and blowing them about, projections, as well various large air structures that dramatically inflated and invited audience participation.
