Teardrop was a large air-inflated teardrop hung from a crane beside the Lantaren Theatre, in Rotterdam, as an advertisement for the Festival of Unhappy Love (Ongelukkige Liefde) the theatre was hosting. It was internally illuminated at night.

In tandem with this installation, the Javaphile performance Tearfall was presented the Lantaren in the context of this festival.
